Praktik textured paint is designed for decorative finishing and giving texture to surfaces of buildings and other structures, and also for interior finishing in high-humidity premises (kitchens, bathrooms, hallways).

TOOLS
Texture depends not only on the special composition but also on the chosen application tool.
Broad hard brush
The material can be applied on the wall using vertical, crosswise, horizontal, wave-like and other movements.
Comb
Used for a more pronounced relief with a sparse pattern. Used in the same way as the brush.
Spatula
A thin layer of the paint is applied on the surface using sharp, sudden strokes. The result should be a stone imitation. Without any skill, this technique is difficult to master.
Shaped roller
This tool has a textured surface with a protruding pattern, which is imprinted on the fresh paint. To avoid interruption of the texture, it is preferable to paint the entire height (from the floor to the ceiling) of the wall area.
Trowel
The paint is applied in two layers. The first layer is applied with a spatula and the second with a trowel. After one day, when the finish dries, the surface is coated with white enamel (matt) using a fur roller.
Roller with a foam or fur sponge
Used to obtain a uniform textured surface by rolling up and down the wall. The texture will depend on the structure of the sponge or the type of its roller sleeve.
"DIY"
Using fingers (in rubber gloves), wrapping the roller with cloth or rope (bamboo stalk effect), blows with a wet cloth, etc. The advantage of this technique is that it does not require any tools. With your hands and fingers, you can create any pattern. It all depends on your imagination.
Natural sponge, textile or creased paper
Working with these tools requires "facing" technology. In other words, the freshly painted surface is stamped with the material.

The paint can be applied on brick, concrete, asbestos-cement, plastered and previously painted surfaces that are exposed to weather elements, and used inside premises to obtain coatings that are washable and resistant to wet cleaning. Not recommended for painting basements.
